[edit] [post con writing]
hn. where to begin? ;3 all in all the con was great. it was such a nice change of pace from all the art-ing from school. although i do love to learn I was serriously depressed this semester because all i could see where the mistakes i was making (even more so than usual) and last fanime business was so terrible that perhaps i was expecting that it would be the same this year. but to the contrary i did decently and i was tickled pink by the compliments i recieved from my commissioners and i got more and more commissions with every day. Seeing my friends and senpai ian

bryan

evon

and jillian

was so nice although a bit embarressing as to how shy and childish i was comming off (probaly). [there are also other friends and deviants i chatted with: alfred

, elaine

, lindsay, mary, wen-m

, poe, lily

, and jennifer to mention a few.. ]I also made a new friend, dan

who is a grad student at UCB and was doing research on art on the internet (and was tabling with the BAAU table to see what it was like at Fanime). (one can read some of his research on his DA account/blog) It was fun discussing the concept of frontstage/backstage at the con and on the internet.
don't know if the rest of this entry was all that exciting or interesting, but i guess i just wanted to announce at how pleased i was at attending this year's convention and how pleased i was to meet and greet people. It made me realize why i continue to persue drawing and general art-ing: to see the smiles on other's people's faces. thank you always for your kindess. korekara mo yoroshiku. (roughly translates to: please take care of me in the future/a pleasure doing business for/with you).
I really like your style, I though you might be interested.

if you want to improve.. (although this is terribly depresseing to say) be your own biggest critique. always strive for more, better, faster. but know that with each drawing you do, you're one step closer to getting everything right

There's so much beauty in the world.
Sometimes I feel like Im seeing it all at once, and its too much,
My heart fills up like a balloon that's about to burst...
And then I remember to relax...and then it flows through me like rain

I had the pleasure of meeting you in the Artist Alley @ Fanime! You are a great artist, and I wish all the best endeavors. I hope that our paths will meet again, in the meantime, keep up the great work!
Also, I love the way you jacked comics from Lucky Star to explain otakudom.
Take care,
~Benihime-Sama~
